Quick question.
When are Republicans going to learn?
Because for over 40 years, I’ve listened to them complain about different variations of the same thing.
And they are still yet to learn.
After Ronald Reagan, Newt Gingrich, George W. Bush, Donald Trump, Elon Musk, DOGE, and now Mike Johnson.
Fail after fail, they still don’t learn the lesson.
There is no boogeyman.
There is no “deep state” and there is no “Medicaid waste, fraud, and abuse.”
Not at any meaningful level, anyway.
And yet, they still don’t learn.
And if they didn’t learn this lesson after paying DOGE billions to harvest every data point on Americans, immigrants, every government program, every government contract, every business, and every nonprofit—a horrific and destructive process that STILL yielded no real benefit—they’ll never learn.
There is no they. There is only us. And we deserve better.
